Ada likes to talk to herself. A lot.
Much of it is her reading books to herself. Except she can’t read.
Tonight as I was baking a cake, she was sitting on the counter next to me reading some books. I hear her talking to herself about Santa Claus picking his nose, and just had to look.
Helena is a Hero, now.
Each month a student from every classroom is picked to be the recipient of the Lake Harriet Hero Award. Â The award is given to a student who makes a difference. Â A student who is respectful, helpful and kind. Â They are a positive leader, role model and an engaged learner.
