I told the kids to make a sad face. This is all that Liam could come up with.
This was the first time that we went this year, and because of the rain, parts of the park and almost all of the parking lot was covered in water. We left a bit earlier than expected because it began to rain.
All of which looked better than ours.
I will have to speak with Ada about copyright laws.
She has a new bike and isn’t used to the gears yet. Maybe by the end of the summer.
Ada wasn’t too close to where I could take photos so they are a bit blurry, but here are a few. She had a fun first day. There are four students in her class, but the other three didn’t show this day, so she had a nice one-on-one session.
She’s been bugging me about getting a leotard since I told her this weekend that she starts this week. As soon as we got home she changed into it and she hasn’t stopped bouncing around the house for the last twenty minutes.
Dad is super proud.
Ada got to go first out of the ten kids. She was a little nervous – I could see her fingers shaking a bit at the piano but it didn’t affect the performance at all.
But it was fantastic!
At the Bryant Square Park summer concert opening.
I asked what part of this door decoration (that won first prize) Helena did and she said none of it but she and two others put it together. I don’t know what she decided to do while the other kids were doing the artwork.
Liam told me that Helena did draw the Union Jack.
