Ada: It smells like hand sanitizer in here!
Winter decorations:
Liam and Ada were given instructions not to wake Helena up before eight and they are following orders although they are excited. Dori is still asleep, too.
What they’re after.
This year Helena liked art materials, clothes, and candles, Liam wanted sports gloves, jerseys, and Magic cards, and Ada wanted more and more Barbie things.
Jeanette brought over presents for the kids
Liam seems happy with his gift
I have no idea what Ada was excited about here
Jeanette got the kids nuts and a nutcracker. I think that they like cracking them more than actually eating them, though.
Later that night Ada left a note for Santa along with the milk and cookies.
Liam had basketball practice in the gym, but Ada and I were going to read. There is a couch there for Minneapolis Kids, but they cover everything up at night.
Well, Ada and I wanted to sit on the couch. So we took the cover off and sat down. Then we heard the janitor come by and Ada said that we might get yelled at. So we grabbed the tarp and hid underneath it while still reading on the couch. Ada thought this wasรย very risky. But we did end up making it out of there alive.
Then she took me to her clean locker and showed me her latest poem about kiwi.
