We took the Greenway out to St. Louis Park to sign Ada up for gymnastics. Upon leaving, we realized that it was probably not a good idea because, although it looked like the thunderstorms had stopped, once we got going, we weren’t so sure.
Luckily we only got drizzled on a bit, and Ada did get signed up.
She has a new bike and isn’t used to the gears yet. Maybe by the end of the summer.
Punky’s bike gets a flat tire every other time she rides it, it seems. So we walked it down to Penn Cycle and asked them to look at it again to find out what is going on. They still swear that nothing is wrong with it.
After that, we put a sign on Ada’s back and went down to the Greenway, where she rode without incident. She was cheered by many other riders and despite being worried at the start, she was quite proud of herself. After today, she asked many times to go bike riding.
We also went to Punch for pizza (our destination) and to Barnes & Noble where Ada was fine with talking to herself in the middle of the kids’ section.
