Valleyfair
Busy Day
Soccer first
Then we went out for ice cream to celebrate the win. The best part of winning was that the coach and parents in Lakeville were the worst we’ve ever encountered. Yelling at the (teenaged) linesman, lineswoman and the (adult) referee. The coach was so mad over (correct) non-call on offsides that he threw his phone in disgust, which happened to go in the tall grass that can be seen in the top of the photo above. Liam is not in the photo below because he was watching the football game on the television.
And while we were sitting there, we laughed and laughed at the coach some more because he came in. And he must have found his phone!
And then, once again, we went to Valleyfair.
This was in the haunted house. We weren’t sure if we were allowed to sit on this, but we did anyway because our guide was in a hurry and left us in the dust.
“Hurry up, dad’s taking a picture”
And then we went to somewhere new for dinner.
Another Day at Valleyfair
Although we began the day at the Minneapolis Farmers Market
Liam was acting goofy here to be funny.
Helena got sprayed by the cannon by the family that was adjacent to me upon my request. She wasn’t sure what hit her.
My camera doesn’t do so well in poor light AND with motion so I told the kids here to pretend that they were moving although they had just stepped into the ride.

Liam and dad on The Wave
This is the last photo that I took (and the second overall) before I was told to put the camera away while on rides.
Still soaked on the Ferris Wheel. You can see the wet spots from the camera, unfortunately.
Still Ada’s favourite ride.
Ada’s first trip on a roller coaster.
Liam chatting with some girl. Well, she was chatting.
Helena held on to the camera while Liam and dad went on the Renegade roller coaster – Liam’s favourite ride today.
Ada and Helena on the merry-go-round while Liam finished his lunch.
Now Helena and Liam on The Wave. Ada refused.
Ada didn’t want to go on Thunder Canyon, but she finally relented, and ended up on it three times. Still, she was worried about the waterfalls.
The Scrambler. One of our favorites.
Lots of Pictures from Valleyfair
Ada and I on the Ferris Wheel
Liam and Helena on the ….whatever it is called. The Octopus?
Ada was quite talkative.
But she can be a bit reflective as well. For about ten seconds.
The others waiting.
After we all got drenched. Helena and I went back for more while Ada and Liam stood on the side.
Ada’s favorite ride was the balloon ride.
Both Helena and Liam were very good about going on rides with Ada.
Ada liked these planes, too. She liked having the ability to control the height. รย Later on, Helena and I had a laugh because we were both too big for them. Helena had to be told to stand aside while Ada went on with Liam.
Ada about to be eaten by an evil, Jamaican banana.
No, I’m not kidding. Liam and Helena went on this rollercoaster. Just once, though. They won’t go on it again.
Eating our smuggled lunch.
Helena’s first driving experience.
Waiting in line. The lines were very, very fast. Much pleased.
While Liam and I went on a rolle rcoaster that he was excited about, รย the girls went on the kidding swing thing.
The last ride that went on. Ada loved it and kept asking to go back on it. She kept telling me that Helena and Liam went on the roller coaster three times so we had to ride this one a few.
This was Ada 15 minutes after asking if she could go on a ride “one more time”.
This is me burnt at the restaurant afterward. Funny that Ada put her hands up in the air when I pretended that I was robbing her. I have no idea where she learned that.
